我學(xué)英語(yǔ)是好多年之前的事了。我的感覺，大量閱讀還是挺有效的。
有一套 叫  循序漸進(jìn)美國(guó)英語(yǔ)， 我覺得那套書 不錯(cuò)，可以根據(jù)自己實(shí)際情況選擇難度。文章很輕松，對(duì)提高語(yǔ)感有好處。

1 i can not afford anything cost much 改為 i can not afford to buy anything cost much。cuz afford means having the fanancial to do something or to buy something.
2.by the end of the last December. by the end 是固定搭配 。

第一段大概就這些小細(xì)節(jié) ，您寫得很不錯(cuò) 對(duì)于初學(xué)者來(lái)說(shuō)，孰能生巧加油，另外 在英翻界有句話 就是十句漢譯英才能出來(lái)一句英譯漢 也就是多精讀 多翻譯 才能糾正中式思維。一點(diǎn)小建議，共勉。
