Sales Engineer-Steel

1.     Manage and coordinate all direct sales activities of those key accounts with the focuses in industrial and bearing market in China

2.    Motivate customers’ general, technical and purchasing management to make purchasing decisions favourable to The Company’s Corporation

3.    Develop and coordinate programs and identify products that will economically benefit both the customers and The Company – working closely with members of Marketing & Business Development, New Business & Advanced Product Development, Precision Steel Components to achieve these goals

4.    Prepare accurate long and short range sales forecasts which are critical to proper production planning

5.    Identify problems impeding favourable customer purchasing decisions and recommend possible solutions to those impediments.

6.    Assist Credit Department in collecting past due accounts.

7.    Resolve product claims with Manager approval.

8.    Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of competitors and their capabilities.

Requirements:

1.        Must be bachelor degree or above with a technical major.

2.        At least 3 years relevant working experience in steel sales and/or marketing.

3.        Solid English communication skills both in written and spoken.

4.        An expert in market knowledge, competitors, and the Alloy Steel Business Unit’s manufacturing processes are required.

5.               Work well under pressure
